<Japanese language church services>
These are held by JCL Partners or others in the following locations. If you are interested in attending or in taking a Japanese friend along to one of these services please contact us or one of the individuals listed below - we can give you detailed directions and put you in touch with someone who will be able to welcome you there.
1.Central London by the Japanese Christian Fellowship (JCF) on Sunday afternoons at 2.30pm near Tottenham Court Road. For more information contact Susumu Morinaga (020 8752 0115) or JCL.
2.North Finchley - Every Sunday from 2.00pm at St. Barnabas Church, two minutes walk from Woodside Park underground. For details, contact Hiroshi Ogawa (020 8723 0220) or JCL.
3.Wimbledon - on the third Sunday of each month from 2.00pm at Emmanuel Church on the Ridgeway, 10-15 mins walk from Wimbledon station. Also weekly women's Bible studies on Tuesdays at 1pm. For details, contact Peter & Renate Yonge (020-8286-7352), Hiro & Valerie Fujiwara (020 8395 5939) or JCL.
4.Edinburgh - every Sunday from 2.00pm at Portobello United Free Church, 1 Kekewich Avenue, Edinburgh. Weekly Japanese Bible studies are also held on Fridays at 7pm at the Faith Mission. For more information, contact Yuki Williams (0131 672 0975) or JCL.
5.Milton Keynes - Every Sunday from 1.30 at The Servant King Church, 33 Dulverton Drive, Furzton, Milton Keynes. The church also runs weekly Bible studies and mother and toddlers group meetings plus a monthly prayer meeting. For more information contact Yoshiko Kojima (01908 395168) or JCL.

<London International VIP Club meetings>
These are ideal gatherings to invite Japanese business people to for some relaxed and enjoyable interaction with others and to hear something stimulating in their own language. (The "VIP" idea is taken from Isaiah 43:4). They take place typically from 7.00 pm on weekday evenings in central London, approximately once every six weeks. Often there is a light buffet meal followed by a short talk and plenty of time for informal interaction. On some occasions the talk will be the personal testimony of a Christian. On other occasions there may be a theme, e.g. golf, paintings, music, etc. through which some connection with the Christian gospel will be drawn. However, the atmosphere is always designed to be informal, non-threatening and accessible to those who would not consider themselves to be Christians. Previous speakers have included: Eiji Hoshi, Keiko Holmes, Kiku Horinouchi, Tatsuya Takeshita, YukoYamagata, Bernard Firkins, Yoshiko Oishi, Masaru Aoki, Selvan Anketell, Yutaka Umezaki, Jonathan Batchelor, Kazuo Ichimura, Ian Maclennan, Hiroshi Iwamura, John Cooke, Philp Fujii and Aogu Tateyama.
